Does Got2bglued gel leave flakes?

I just got a mohawk and i bought got2b glued gel because i heard it works really well if you want to spike up your hair. Im concerned if it leaves white flakes in your hair after you use it. does it? if it does, what other gel can i buy that doesnt leave flakes and keeps my hair spiked?
