Sounds like you are still in the running, and they will notify you when they have made the final selections. If you don't take the cue and back off and let them make the next step, you will definitely NOT get the job, because it shows you can't take direction. Don't want to tick off a recruiter. They are often overwhelmed with how many applicants they get, and usually don't make the deadlines they are supposed to. Hang tight and wait to be contacted.
