What ATT phone should I get?

I want to get a new phone. Right now I have the pantech matrix, I like it but it is way to thick to put in my pocket. When i ride my horse it sticks half out, I don't wanna loose it. Anyway, I want a phone that doesn't require a data plan for ATT, but it is hard to find one... I need it for texting, a few calls now and then, and. I would like WiFi. A USB charger would be nice. I was looking at the samsung solstice 2 and pan tech laser, but they seem to have flaws. I know everything has flaws.... Any suggestions?
