I'm been dating this guy over the phone, is it ok to date him?

i been talking to this guy he's 18 i'm 17. i really like him. he really likes me too. we been dating for 3 weeks. he tells me that he loves me and i'm the only person he wants to be with. he talks really sweet to me. he makes me laugh. if i get sad he would ask me whats wrong and tries to make me happy. once i told him that my friends weren't talking to me, he said let me talk to them i get them to answer you. he text me every day and almost every day we talk on the phone. he tells me that he going to come see me this summer when he gets his license. he told his family and his friends about me. also he said that he thinks that i mit be the one. we have a lot things in common. he doesn't want other guys to flirt with me. i'm friends with one of his cousins. he told his cousin to keep an eye on me and make sure no guy flirts with me. i don't mind that i only want to be with him. he tells people i'm his girlfriend and i tell people that hes my boyfriend. we both like each other. he's going to come see me soon this summer. he wants to meet my parents first than meet me. every time i talk to him on the phone i can't stop smiling. i barley ever smile. he says i make him smile the most and he says that hes glad that he makes me happy. once i told him some guy was talking inappropriate to me he said let me talk to him i set him straight. he told me he wants a serous relationship and is the last thing on his mind. he wants to meet my family and he wants me to meet his family. his cousin tells me that all he wants to talk about is me. all i talk about to people is him. his cousin tells me that me and him are made for each other. he says that he wants to marry me, but he wants to get to know me first. i'm still a virgin. so what do you think? do you think its ok to be with him?
