I can't get over this girl I really like. I've caught her lying several times, she asks me to schedule things with her, then flakes, she talks about other guys so I don't think she's interested, then starts flirting with me. She told me she "had nothing romantic going on in her personal life." She was actually seeing someone. After all that, I still like her. What the hell is my problem?

Hanging out with an old friend is now awkward?

Ok, I really need to ask this question because I felt super guilty about this. Just for starters I'm in grade 9, and it's almost the end of the year. Through the year I was friends with one girl(let's call her Sarah). Me and Sarah were really close, always walks together to cl, and at lunch ect. But a couple weeks ago I started to get a little bored. It was nice and hot and sunny outside, but all Sarah wanted to do was sit inside and eat. It would be just the two of us and it was getting boring because no one else wanted to sit with her(not a lot of people like her, but I'm more popular). Even the couple other people who used to eat with us stopped eating with us. I think this is because she is pretty boring, always on her phone and not socializing or anything, always wants to stay inside(she complained about how cold it is outside, but now doesn't want to go out when it is hot). She also criticizes me and a lot of other people too. She'll say my clothes don't look like a thing a 14 year old would wear, or sweetly insult me by saying I'm disorganized or wanting attention, or trying to be more popular. So, anyway, I started to hang out with another group of people about the same time. I was bored of not going outside and stuff, plus everyone there treats me with respect and they are so much fun to hang around with. We always have a good time and me and this guy like each other now. I'm having so much more fun than I did with Sarah. I have invited her to come on multiple occasions, but she always says no. She doesn't like them very much. So now, things are really awkward between Sarah and me. I try to talk to her, but it just feels strained and stuff, and I have apologized for maybe seeming like I was ignoring her, and she said it was ok, but it still feels weird. How do I make time for both of these people? Sarah is a good friend, but so are the others. Also, I have to drive her to camp for a week in July, so I don't want it to be awkward, how can I talk to her?

So today I texted my friend to see if she wanted to hang out tonight. Honestly I don't have much friends like 2 or 3 so anyways, before I can ask her she asks me what I'm doing I said nothing why wana hang out? How do you get dry skin to stop flaking?

I use a but load of toner and benzoyl peroxide on my face to keep my skin zit free, both products dry out my skin so I moisturize twice a day, my skin is still dry and with all the summer sun it is starting to get quite flaky/peely. Is there anything to help with out reducing the toner or benzoyl peroxide?

My belly ring fell out; should I just get it redone?

I got my belly piercing six months ago. Last month, when it was fully healed, the ball that screws onto the jewelery fell off, which ended up making the whole piercing fall out. My belly piercing didn't have a piece of jewelery in it for two days. After I bought a replacement and put it in, it sort of hurt and turned red. You act a bit strange to me. Of course it can happen that she suddenly has to cancel a date, especially if she is a busy person with a job, a family and extra activities/responsibilities. My betta fish won't eat, help?

I got a betta fish yesterday and she'll take a bite of food and spit it out. I've tried tropical flakes, pellets, bread, goldfish food, and even a few bugs. She will bite it and spit it out. I thought she was sick so I took her out and put her in a small bowl. She wasn't so I put her back in my 10gallon aquarium and she would chase the guppies away and she bit my other females tail. Im worried about my opaline gourami.?

a few days ago i added a male opaline gourami to my 30g tank. it was shy and didnt eat anything that day so i just let it be. the next day it wouldnt eat anything i gave it. flake, small pellets, micro pellets, bloodworm, algea disk, and even tried frozen blood worm. i have tiger barbs in the tank with it and they have left it alone. the color of my gourami is nice and bright better than at the petstore. same with all my tigers. i was thinking my tigers were eating all the food and not letting my gourami eat. thats why i tried the small pellets. they are too big for the tigers to get in their moulths so they cant eat all the food. all this food was either omega 1 or hikari. the store fead this fish omega 1. i also had some snails in the tank that have vanished i think the gourami ate them, and live plants. im not too worried about the wealfare of the fish right now cause the color is good but later that might change any ideas?

Beta Fish has fin rot. Not sure what meds to give him?

My two year old red Beta named Fred has recently contracted a slight case of fin rot. I say "slight case" because its only on the edges on his top fin and alittle more progressed on his bottom fins. Its however very troublesome to me as he is my fish and I love him. I`ve had a few betas in the past and they never got sick and lived 4ish years. I am not one of those beta ppl who keep the fish in a teeny tiny 1 gallon tank. My fish lives all by himself in a 10 gallon, filtered and heated tank. I change 25% of the water each week and add the appropriate clorine and othe harmful tap water chemical removers, along with a waste control additive which cuts down waste. I also add "cycle" to promote the good bacteria to benefit the cycling of ammonia to nitrite and nitrate. The temp in the tank is kept at a constant 80 degrees. This is the first time this has ever happened to me with any fish as I try my greatest to take good care of them! He eats beta flake fish food. Lately he hasn`t been eating as much, I figured he must not be too hungry, I fed him alittle less the next day. He them seemed lazy. I figured he might be getting old. I studied him and noticed the beginnings of fin rot. He just isn`t himself and this pains me because I`m worried he`s in pain. I DID RESEARCH ON FIN ROT AND THE PICS ONLINE SEEM TO MATCH UP WITH HIS CONDITION! So now I am worried because all the website tell me to give him this or that med, but then others contridict the first website saying that this and that med isn`t effective. So now I am confused. I added two tablespoons of kosher salt to the water to help keep the fins clean. Now I just need advice on what meds to get him. Thanks.

How much should a 5'6 13 year old girl weigh?

Okay, so i'm 13 years old (girl, b-day March 20), 5'6, big boned (like im not a skinny little twig), and I weigh 120 lbs. My arms only look fat when I press on them and my legs kind of jiggle when I walk. My stomach...well, let's just call it a huge glob of fat. My face is round but not exactly fat..but I do have a pretty decent amount of neck fat. I used to take tennis and tae kwon do, but it got too expensive so I quit. Other than that I don't really work out alot. My family and friends tell me i'm just the right size for my age and I usually believe them.....but then when I go to school or shopping or something, i'm surrounded by all these little skinny people and I feel fat. Am I overweight? Should I work out more or go on a diet? I need some serious help :(

Could I have an Infection?

I really don't mean to be "gross" or go against Yahoo's guidelines about the content of the questions, and I will try to explain this as clearly as possible without making it too incredibly inappropriate: I have been experiencing pretty extreme vaginal itching - all external - and have been seeing quite a lot of brown discharge. I am ually active, but neither of us has ever been with anyone except for each other (I'm sure of this.) Also, I JUST finished my cycle, and I know that often times you can find brown vaginal discharge after your cycle because it's the organ's way of "cleaning out" any old blood. What concerns me is that there are very dark brown flake-like bits, which might just be more old blood, and little white curd-like bits - which concerns me because of yeast infection symptoms, all mixed in with the brownish discharge. Also, a few weeks ago I began to notice symptoms of a very minor UTI. One that seemed like it would be fairly harmless and painless other than some slight discomfort and that would go away on its own as long as I kept clean. But now I feel, if this makes sense, sick down there, and it's vaginal, not urinary. Like when you have a cold and your nose and throat just feel plain sick. They feel like they're constantly moist with gross liquid that isn't there when you're healthy. That's what it feels like all the time down there along with the itching and visible redness in the places that itch and the very unusual discharge. Oh, one more bit of information that may be important -- Every day I take a daily multivitamin and an herb called saw palmetto, and I'm also on birth control pills. Please no harsh responses, I realize there are some things you could comment on about me that involve my stupidity level, but I really just need you to only answer if you have an actual helpful answer. Thank you so much for any help that you can offer -- I also realize that going to a doctor would be the number one option, but I can't do that any time soon. Thanks again in advance.

Hotmail problems HELP?

So I noticed a couple weeks ago my phone popped up an error message saying it could not access my email account. I deleted the account off my phone then installed it again and it said my username and/or pword were incorrect. I had left it at that for awhile. Now today I try on both my computers at home to log in and they both say the same thing incorrect pword or username. I have not changed it and attempting to reset the pword just brings my to a "The webpage cannot be displayed" error message, what gives?? I am 1.57 m high (5'2') and 43 kg (95 lb) and i want to lose some weight. please dont tell me im young or i dont need to lose weight. no rude comments! so the diet i'm following is: a cup of plain, no sugar added corn flakes for breakfast. nothing in between. then for lunch maybe fish or meat or pulses (im not sure but not something fried or with sauces and stuff). half a peach or half an apple or half a pear or a handful of gs for in between. nothing, or just a gl of orange juice for dinner. so how much weight can i lose if i follow this diet for 11 days and also excersice moderately and doing abs?

Dog is licking his underarm/paws! Watz wrong?

My shihtzu started to lick all his 4 legs. And his skin are red. On his underarm i noticed that some hairs are gone and theres like some flaking on d roots of his hairs. I remember i tried to pick them then some hairs went with it. On his thighs there are some black stuffs (like a birthmark) and he dont have them before. He had his food since he is a puppy and never had a problem with it.I tried to use an anti-flaking and anti-dandruff shampoo but it seems like the medicated shampoo is too strong for him. Then i switch him to an oatmeal shampoo and still lick. He licks bad last nite especially because he was left alone in my house cause we have to stay in d hospital. Is there any prevention i should do before i call a vet? Home remedies? Or good shampoo? Help!!

What type of diet would suit a Muay Thai practitioner?

Hey guys, my names Zach and I'm going to start Muay Thai next week. I've been doing Tae Kwon Do for the past 2 years so i am generally a fast-ish person. I'm 16 years old, 6"1 and 67kg. I'm thin but what I do have is mostly muscle. In terms of a healthy diet for someone trying to put on around 10kg of lean muscle and keep it on, what would you say I'd have to eat. Mind you I have a very very high metabolism, I eat 3 full sized meals a day, mostly rices and pastas, with various meats and vegetables. I snack 4-5 times a day, mostly fruit but often chips ;o I also tend to drink a lot of Coke...lol. Any tips :D

Im worried about my opaline gourami.?

a few days ago i added a male opaline gourami to my 30g tank. it was shy and didnt eat anything that day so i just let it be. the next day it wouldnt eat anything i gave it. flake, small pellets, micro pellets, bloodworm, algea disk, and even tried frozen blood worm. i have tiger barbs in the tank with it and they have left it alone. the color of my gourami is nice and bright better than at the petstore. same with all my tigers. i was thinking my tigers were eating all the food and not letting my gourami eat. thats why i tried the small pellets. they are too big for the tigers to get in their moulths so they cant eat all the food. all this food was either omega 1 or hikari. the store fead this fish omega 1. i also had some snails in the tank that have vanished i think the gourami ate them, and live plants. im not too worried about the wealfare of the fish right now cause the color is good but later that might change any ideas?

Karate Vs Tae Kwon Do!!!!!!!!!!?

I knew there would be people who bashed taekwondo but I don't care. There is no better martial art. Karate isn't better than taekwondo and taekwondo isn't better than karate. It's all about YOU. The reason there is no best martial art is because someone could be really good at karate but then here comes someone who knows taekwondo and he's good too and they fight and the taekwondo guy wins. That could happen the other way around too. A karate practitioner beating a taekwondo practitioner. When it comes to martial arts there will ALWAYS be someone who trains just as hard as you if not harder and that makes all the difference. So if I were you Id sit in on each cl and watch and take a trial cl for each and see which one you like better. But make sure it's not a McDojo.

It's really good that you eat often, but given the amount of activity you do I would say you need to actually raise your calorie intake considerably. Try to aim for at least 1400 calories, otherwise your body will go into starvation mode and you might end up actually gaining weight.

It's not very good, that's for sure, especially the fast food. I would venture to guess that as you age, you will put on more weight and easily top 150 in no time. Your metabolism will slow down and unless you make good choices and exercise, you will gain weight. Granted, if you eat crap but less portion wise, you can minimize damage. But eating right is more than just looks and weight. It's for your health.

Taekwondo is much bigger than anyone on Yahoo would know. There are different federations like WTF, ITF, ATA just to name a few. Each federation is completely different. WTF is considered to be one of the more brutal styles and most useful on the streets. ATA is american, which is one reason it sucks. ATA is one of the more popular ociations in TKD and they take money and give out rank to anyone who pays. Before you think bad about TKD learn about the different federations and ociations with it. It is very different between each.

Should I reapply water based concrete stain?

Ok, we had a coat of waste based semi transparent stain. after only a year, almost all of it flaked off. I bought another brand, and even wasted money on a coat of primer. I washed the surface off, and applied the primer..and now the stain won't apply. It just pools up, streaks, and doesn't cover the surface. At least the other stuff went on perfectly well, it just didn't hold up long. Did I get yet another bad batch of stain? Is the primer to blame? I don't want to waste anymore time and money on this. what shoudl I do? Buy another braind of stain and apply? Or just buy some paint and toss over the mess because its impossible to fix without wasting a lot of time and money?

Not too long ago some friends of mine and I went to Cancun for a destination wedding. While there I met a guy who's actually from my hometown and who knows one of my friends. We hit it off! Then I'll be damned if he doesn't sit his *** in front of the tv and play with his phone. I know he wasn't texting anyone because he showed me his phone, he was buying apps for his phone! WTF? Every now and then he would look up at me and smile. But when I was ready to leave he didn't even get up to say goodbye, he just reached out his hand for a shake and that was it. I'm 16 years old, female and am about 160 lbs. My goal weight is around 130-135, I'd like to do this by the middle of august. Why is it that mothers have no recourse when it comes to domestic violence and mistreated sons?

My son has a domestic violence charge against him due to the fact that he is diabetic and got left at home for 5 hrs with no food by his domestic partner while babysitting their daughter, When she got home she knew his sugar would be bottomed out and he was trying to leave to go get food because he could tell his sugar was going to bottom out she jumped on top of him in the drivers seat only to get her clothes that she had just bought to go out that night. He then pushed her off of him because he needed food and an off duty cop was standing there and he went to jail. She got an order of protection only so she could peacefully have a new boyfriend and come to find out she was cheating on him for years. Now I know there are legitimate problems out there when it comes to domestic violence however I do think it should be evaluated on a case by case basis. Because If she had just been honest and broke it off and told him she had someone else and he didn't have to catch her in their bed maybe he wouldn't have been put in the position he was put in. And while I know its his responsibility to control his anger she has lived with him 5 yrs and is very aware of low blood sugar symptoms. She set him up and 10,000 later she ruined his life I don't get to see my grandchildren or my son because he was so depressed after she had him fired he left. He is 29 and homeless at this point because she got the home, I talk to him on the phone but I don't know where he is at. It is very depressing to lose your grandchildren and cant see your son while she goes on with her happy life. His daughter was what he lived for. I am so sad and depressed HELP I miss my family

I am 12 years old and my parents are very over-protective. Well at least I think so. I have a cell phone and have an orange belt in Tae Kwon Do. We live in the suburbs. Do you think i have something wrong with my heart?

I am 16. I am lean, able to run well, and i don't think heart problems run through my family. I used to not excersise as much except for saturdays at Tae-Kwon-Do for 2 or 3 hours. But, i am have been starting to excersise more. But sometimes, i feel this ache feeling in my chest. (It does not hurt, but it is not comfortable.) Sometimes i also get this feeling like it is a little hard to breath, and i have to breath much deeper. I felt that feeling yesterday. I was going to a party and was talking to my dad, i got kind of nervous about something, i felt the uncomfortable ache feeling in my chest, then for a little bit it felt a little hard to breath but it was better after. After the party, i thought i was just muscle tightness due to the fact that my shoulder and back also felt kind of tight. So, i woke up and i didn't feel any of those things. But, i did feel slight ache feeling in my chest again for a while. (Only that and it is kind of on and off.) Also, this usually does not happen but only once in a while. How to get rid of a dry nose?

I've had a really bad cold and my nose is super dry, like there's skin flaking off it & it's really sore. Normally I would just moisturize it, but it's not working. I don't want to use anything too greasy because it will break me out but I need a quick and easy way to solve this. Any suggestions? I've been using Olay cream on it & it stings like crazy at first. became friends with this guy blake back in december. We became really good friends and pretty close. We eventually began to like eachother alot as more than friends. We had alot of amazing times together and the way he viewed things and just life in general had such a big impact on me. But he had had plans to leave and go up to school for 3 months and he already left about 2 weeks ago and i miss him so much. It all depends on price your willing to pay as well as what type of coverage you're looking for girl. If you want light coverage I HIGHLY recommend using a Light Coverage LIQUID foundation all over using a stippling brush or even CLEAN fingers and blend very well. Then apply a finishing powder over it to set the foundation. If you don't want a matte look you can always apply the powder over your forehead/nose or "t-zone" to control the oily areas. As far as brand goes, everyone's skin is different and reacts differently to certain products/brands. You just gotta find what is right for you whether it is a drug-store or high-end product. Sounds like you hit a wall in your training! Almost everyone goes through it during their training. When I first started my training I enjoyed the forms/patterns. I then concentrated mainly on sparring and then the injury's occurred. I again started to learn forms and advanced in rank. There is more to martial arts than just fighting. If you start boxing,you would be in for more violence and pain besides,you would risk your looks as well because boxing is a art that trains to punch to the face over and over again. I would recommend that you continue training in the art that you.ve been training in. SuaKaow

became friends with this guy blake back in december. We became really good friends and pretty close. We eventually began to like eachother alot as more than friends. Your credentials look good, but then again so do many of the credentials of people that apply to Ivy League schools. Regardless, I would check on each school's website for their requirements and talk to representatives of each school. It would also help to talk to current students of each school and ask what their credentials are. If they are similar to yours, then I would imagine that you would have a good chance of being accepted.

I have recently in the past few years discovered independently, a geometric method for finding the center of m up to three dimensional multiple polyhedra xor spheres separated in space. I've had contact with Caltech and M.A.A. regarding these matters, but I'm getting mixed messages as to whether my method is new and different than that of Archimedes. Contributions I've made are utilizing prime factorization to make the construction of centroids simpler. I've also constructed the centroids of up to 13^3 points. Is this a world record? Guinness declined my application, so I don't know if there's a scientific world records database. My article was also declined by MathMag who's editor said to me in an email, "... this is already well known and doented in the litterature." I emailed back asking where the literature is. The response was, "... I can't source any literature, but it's there." The Caltech professor also said to me on the phone, "... we recognize your method is new and different than Archimedes, but we don't think it's an important contribution." I was also told earlier by the same Professor, "... factorization never came up in our discussions, but it is a nice touch though." Also, "... we're writing a book and we're going to mention your work in the chapter on centroids." I've also seen conflicting information on the web saying "these constructions are thought to be impossible" and "no such method exists". Why belts are so important?

Belts have absolutely no meaning outside the dojo. Within the clroom, they do have value. Basically, the belt helps the instructor and other students set their expectations. This can even help promote safety. For example, if two students are paired to spar, the senior student umes the roles of isting the instructor. Instead of just going full force and annihilating the less experienced student, he should take the opportunity to teach, slow down a little and explain what to do.

I am glad that there is somebody rsponsible enough to give their first goldfish a good sized home. Goldfish can grow at different rates, depending on water quality and diet. You do have a varied diet for them, but they should be fed less, about 2 or 3 crisps a day, each, plus a few mini sticks. They use up much less energy than we do, and therefore need much less food to sustain themselves. It could take as little as 6 months for them to reach the size at which they need to be transfered to the 55 gallon, but size is a much better way to measure this. At about 4-5 inches they could be transfered to a larger tank. Your water changing procedure is great, and the better the water quality, the faster they will grow. Just remember, don't overfeed them - they won't grow any quicker, and they'll just get fat. good luck :D

I sent an e-mail to the same costumer service link on the website and got no answer. Two weeks later I sent another e-mail explaining I would send the purchase back and ask my bank to dispute my money back. Jeff Urso, owner manager wrote me back saying it has being more than 30 days, he would not refund me but would exchange it or leave credit. Exchanging could be the easiest way, because I really need the sungles. Since than I had exchange more 7 emails asking about the sunglasses and he keep saying he will let me know soon. I my last e-mail I told I am going to my vacation June/July and I need my purchase or he should refund me he can't provide it. He has stopped communicating as he does not care to reply. 2nd Degree Burglary; What should I expect?

This is my first offense. I live in a duplex. A few months ago I overheard the tenant on the other side of me engaged in a phone conversation in which she exclaimed that "My house should be ready for me to move into in April". So about three weeks into March I witness the tenant loading her belongings into a vehicle, I umed that she was moving into the forementioned "house". A few weeks go by without anyone coming or going from the "vacant" unit. I decide to go over and take a look and see if I can find a cabinet door that will replace one that is broken in my unit. Both units are connected via a crawl space in the attic in which I have never been before. Upon entering the "vacant" unit, it appears littered with trash, most of the items in decent condition appear to be packed in tubs and boxes as if meant to be taken somewhere, and in dissaray as if it had been abandoned in a hurry. However, I do spot some items that do not completely appear to be trash, just some decent looking mirrors, picture frames, wall art, and child's toys. I decide someone may be coming back for the items so I leave out the back door and lock it. A few more weeks go by and still noone comes or goes, so now I make the mistake of uming that she is gone for good, and decide to take some of these belongings back to my unit to use myself and for my daughter, not to sell or anything. About three more weeks later our refrigerator stops working, being as I was extremely late on rent I don't bother asking my landlord to replace it as I already know what the answer is, I decide to store some items in the refrigerator next door, so as not to spoil. The refridgerator is disgusting with some old rotten meat in the freezer so I go ahead and clean it up well and keep some sodas over there, and begin to make regular trips when I need something to eat or drink. A neighbor friend of the former tenant catches on and calls the police after a trip over there to get a soda. The police surround my house, my never have being arrested before I am obviously nervous and take a while but eventually open the door. I fully cooperate with the police, being honest when they ask me about some missing items I immediately give them up and tell them I was under the impression that the items were abandoned. I was placed under arrest and taken to the city jail on a 24 hour hold. The next morning I speak with the detective and give him the same exact story you have read here. I am returned to my cell while he speaks with the prosecutors. about an hour or so later I am released paying no bond pending further investigation. The estimated value of the property is said to be about $200-300. The victim turned out to be in another state for a surgery this whole time and wants to press charges. Can she press charges if she is in another state during the crime? I am in Missouri and this is my first offense, what can I do to avoid any jail time?

A cure for itchy ?

I have been suffering with very itchy for about 5-6 years now, and I have not been ually active in all this time. The itch is so bad that I have to use a nail brush to scratch! when I finish having a good scratch it burns like fire on my genital lips, I think from all the scratching this skin flakes. There's no discharge of any kind it's just a very aggrovating itch! The itch is also on the outside of my area, I've tried creams galore and nothing is working at all. It's come to a stage I don't even want a man because of this problem. It's embarring for me in a big way! I'ts also inconveniencing my daily life because it's permanently itchy. Tae kwon do is only for show?

Is it me or is tae kwon do useless compared to other fighting techniques because they have to do fancy kicking that take longer to preform. For example thai boxing, they use simple moves (knee, elbow etc) and win 90% of the time. not hating on tae kwon do but its just been on my mind, just want to hear your thoughts.

It really comes down to the instructor, not the school. There are good and bad schools in all styles, so you have to be careful. Avoid McDojos: long term contracts and the promise to make you a black belt in a given time. Talk to current students. Look for a mix of ranks including various black belt levels. Attaining your first degree black should not be the end goal of a training program. First black really only means that you are a serious student, in traditional circles.
